DFDS expands Group Management (SEA)

DFDS moves head office and Oslo ship one nautical mile due north (SEA)
Today, DFDS A/S has signed a statement of intent which is to form the basis for an agreement with the Port of Copenhagen regarding the construction of a new DFDS corporate head office, with a floor area of 6,000 square meters, in the Copenhagen Free Port. In connection with the head office, a new passenger terminal will be built for the Oslo ships, which will be moved from the Kvæsthusbroen to the Copenhagen Free Port.

DFDS Creates Large Transport Group (SEA)
DFDS A/S has entered into an agreement with FLS Industries A/S to acquire all shares of DanTransport Holding A/S. The Purchase price is DKK 2 bn, resulting in an increased turnover in the DFDS Group of DKK 8 bn per year to DKK 19 bn year, and an increase in the number of employees by 4,000 to a total of 12,000.
