Dan Jumbo Holding was established in June 1999 and has
the majority shareholding in the operational companies in
Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines as well
as 40% of the shares in Indonesia.
In addition to the 100% ownership of DFDS Dan Transport
Ltd. in Hong Kong, DFDS Dan Transport has strengthened its
position considerably by taking over all the shares in Dan
Jumbo Holding.
DFDS Dan Transport Group now covers six locations via
own companies in Asia in addition to a representative
office in Shanghai. The turnover of the region is
approximately DKK 200 mill. p.a. with some 250 staff.
The companies in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia,
Singapore, and the Philippines will change name to DFDS
Jumbo Transport after the acquisition.
The DFDS Dan Transport Group global sea/air network now
comprises own companies in 23 countries and partner
representation in 41 countries.
