Oddbjörn Fastesson, 59, has been managing director of
DFDS Tor Line AB in Gothenburg since 1987, and from now on
he will be responsible for all the DFDS Group’s ro/ro
freight ship activities, including terminal and port
activities, in the company DFDS Tor Line Group A/S, with
head office in Copenhagen.
Bo-Lennart Thorbjörnsson, 52, was given the
responsibility for all of DFDS’ passenger transportation in
1985, when DFDS’ Passenger Division was created. As
managing director of the DFDS Seaways A/S, with head office
in Copenhagen, he will be responsible from now on for DFDS
Seaways, DFDS Canal Tours, and the travel bureau DFDS
Travel.
The annual DFDS Group turnover is DKK 18.5 billion and
the Group has 12,000 employees in 250 locations, 7
passenger ships, and 23 ro/ro freight ships.
