DFDS and the Swiss transport company Danzas – owned by
Deutsche Post – have entered into an agreement according to
which Danzas will compensate DFDS for Danzas’ breach of
contract in the cooperation agreement between the two
companies.
It can further be reported that the Group activities
developed as expected during the final months of 1999.
Therefore, for 1999 DFDS still expects a result before tax
and extraordinary items of around DKK 300 million, as
announced earlier in the interim report and in connection
with the share issue in November 1999.
