DFDS Dan Transport has opened new logistics center in Oslo

DFDS Tollpost-Globe AS’ new logistics center in Kløfta (situated between Oslo and Gardermoen Airport) is now in full use. The logistics center’s warehouse area is 10,000 sqm. and it has a capacity of 12,000 pallets. With this new logistics center DFDS Dan Transport becomes one of the largest transport and logistics companies in Norway.

The flexible opening times at the logistics center are adapted at all times to the customer’s requirement for service. The lease is for ten years and the letter has invested NOK 76 million in the center. Among the logistics center’s largest customers are Xerox, Bull, Buena Vista, CIC Videos, and BMW.

In addition to the activities in Oslo, DFDS Tollpost-Globe AS also has considerable logistics activities in Skytta (Nittedal), Larvik, Tønsberg, and Trondheim. The logistics activity is closely affiliated with the company’s domestic system, which has a national transport network with fixed transport times.
 
DFDS Tollpost-Globe AS has an annual turnover of NOK 1,236 million and 915 employees.

DFDS Dan Transport is planning similar capacity expansion in Finland, Denmark, the UK, and Holland.
