The antitrust authorities in the relevant countries have
now approved the completion of the sale of DFDS Dan
Transport to DSV ( De Sammensluttede Vognmænd af 13/7 1976
A/S).
In consequence thereof, the transaction with DSV has
been concluded apart from the final specification of the
apportionment of the sales price into shares and
interest-bearing debt. The final calculation of the profit
from the sale is expected to be available by the year
end.
Together with the completion of the sale, the strategic
cooperation agreement between DFDS Tor Line, DFDS Seaways,
and the new DFDS Transport becomes effective, ensuring
access to DFDS’ comprehensive route network. With the
agreement DFDS Tor Line and DFDS Seaways retain an
unaltered strong customer basis.
