19/12/2001 DFDS Tor Line A/S acquires 66% shareholding in the Norwegian shipping (SEA)
Effective 1 January 2002, DFDS Tor Line A/S will acquire a 66% shareholding in the Norwegian-owned shipping company Lys-Line Rederi AS.
12/12/2001 DFDS moves to new Headquarters
The DFDS Group will in 2003 be leaving its headquarters at Sankt Annæ Plads 30. A new lease agreement has been entered into with the property company Sjælsø Gruppen A/S concerning the building of a new, modern domicile at Kalkbrænderihavnen in northern Copenhagen.

DFDS Tor Line has sold its third ro-ro freight vessel in 2001. The vessel, m.s. TOR MAXIMA, has been sold to Norwegian owners for delivery in November.

DFDS Tor Line has sold the ro/ro vessel m.s. TOR HAFNIA to Italian owners for delivery early May. The parties have agreed not to disclose the sales price.

As part of the DFDS Group strategy announced on 11 January 2001, DFDS Tor Line has contracted three Ro-Ro ships with an option for five more ships from the Flensburg shipyard in Germany. Delivery of the first ship is expected in September 2003.

02/01/2001 Agreement signed: DFDS Tor Line acquires Freight Vessel and strengthens the Route between Sweden and England
At the end of this year DFDS Tor Line Group A/S take over the P&O Ferrymasters vessel m/v ELK, plus a number of trailers to be employed in the P and O Ferrymasters door/door traffic on m/v ELK’s service between Sweden and England.
