The premises, which DFDS has occupied since 1872, have
been the focal point for the company's extensive harbour
activities in the area down the years.
The major organizational changes made within the DFDS
Group over the last few years have prompted the decision to
move to new premises which better accommodate the current
level of activities.
Negotiations have thus been initiated with Københavns
Havn (Port of Copenhagen) about leasing new office premises
in the former free port area.
The sale of the buildings at Sankt Annæ Plads will have
a positive impact on the ordinary result before tax of
approximately DKK 120 mill. The locked-up capital released
as a result of the sale and the subsequent lease of office
premises will also have a positive impact on the future
Economic Profit (EP).
Yours faithfully,
DFDS A/S
