In this connection it has been decided that in future
all DFDS Seaways' commercial activities will be managed by
a passenger route director.
As of November 1, 2001 Sven Pihl Olsen (47), who has
been employed in the DFDS Group for 30 years, has been
appointed to this new position. Sven Pihl Olsen comes from
a position as Managing Director of DFDS Seaways AB,
Gothenborg, and has previously been working within the
fields of marketing, product development, and traffic
coordination, and thus has a solid basis of experiences.
His successor in DFDS Seaways AB, Gothenborg, is Lars-Göran
Toftefors.
