Bo-Lennart Thorbjörnsson has desired to resign from
his position as Managing Director of DFDS Seaways A/S at
the end of November 2001, and at the same time retire from
the Executive Board.
Thor Johannesen, Director, has been appointed new
Managing Director of DFDS Seaways A/S.
The background for Bo-Lennart Thorbjörnsson's decision
is a personal wish to be released from the heavy workload
through many years brought about by the expansion and
management of the DFDS Seaways Group.
After Bo-Lennart Thorbjörnsson's resignation the
Executive Board of the DFDS Group consists of Ole Frie,
Presiding Director, and Chr. Merrild, CFO.
