Profit for 2002
The profit for the year after tax and
extraordinary items but before minority interests was DKK
200 million.
The profit for the year before tax excluding adjustments
for writedowns amounted to DKK 131 million, which is in
line with expectations.
After adjustment for write-downs and profit/loss on the
sale of ships and buildings, the operating profit (EBITA)
increased by 53% to DKK 283 million.
Profit forecast 2003
DFDS expects a profit before tax,
extraordinary items and minority interests of DKK 140-160
million for 2003.
