DFDS increases the Frequency between Gothenburg and southern England

Early 2004, the frequency and capacity will be improved considerably between Gothenburg in Sweden and Harwich in the UK.

Before the end of January, the sailing schedule on this service will be changed to three departures per week in each direction.

Until the end of 2003 the ownership of Stena Tor Line HB is shared between Stena Line Scandinavia AB and DFDS A/S, with the operational and marketing responsibility handled by DFDS Tor Line AB in Gothenburg. The parties have agreed, however, that as from 1 January 2004 this service will be operated solely by DFDS A/S.

In line with the EuroBridge and AngloBridge services, the Gothenburg/Harwich service will also be operated by DFDS Tor Line AB as agents of DFDS A/S.

“The adjustment of the sailing schedule is part of the DFDS A/S strategy of improving the service for the industry and the traffic-flows to the south of England", says Ole Frie, Managing Director of DFDS A/S.

Yours sincerely,
DFDS A/S

Ole Frie
Managing Director
