Lys-Line AS, owned 66 per cent by DFDS A/S, has signed a
new three-year contract with AssiDomän Cartonboard AB with
the intention of establishing a long-term relationship.
The contract takes effect in 2005, when Lys-Line will
take over the total logistics for about 50,000 tonnes of
paper p.a. from the mill in Sweden to the final customers
in the UK. This will ensure AssiDomän Cartonboard shorter
lead time and faster deliveries to its customers.
For many years Lys-Line has had an agreement with
AssiDomän Cartonboard, covering volumes to Ireland on
Lys-Line's direct liner service from Lysekil to
Belfast/Drogheda.
