The 66% DFDS-owned Norwegian company, Lys-Line AS, has
signed a new three-year contract with Hydro Aluminium A.S
with the option of a further two years.
The contract covers the transportation of 200,000 tonnes
of aluminium p.a. from the west coast of Norway to Lisbon
in Portugal and Gaeta in Italy. Lys-Line will run a weekly
service to Portugal and a fortnightly service to Italy.
Lys-Line AS now has eleven vessels in service between
Norway and Portugal/the Mediterranean.
