DFDS acquires shipping line from Cobelfret (SEA)

With effect from 14 June 2005, DFDS A/S has acquired the shipping service presently operated by Cobelfret AB between Gothenburg, Sweden, and Killingholme, UK.

This service is currently operated by the two Cobelfret Ro-Ro vessels BRITTA ODEN and EVA ODEN, and these vessels will be time- chartered by DFDS for a 12- month period. The service as such will continue, but will switch from Killingholme to Immingham.

The name of the new DFDS service will be HumberBridge, and the service will run parallel, as at present, with the existing DFDS Tor Line Gothenburg/Immingham service under the name of AngloBridge, operating seven sailings per week each way.

The parties have agreed not to disclose the further terms of the agreement.

The acquisition of the shipping line from Cobelfret is not expected to have any significant influence on the forecasted DFDS A/S financial result 2005.
