Stora Enso Transport and
Distribution and DFDS A/S have signed "Heads of
Agreement" for North Sea transportation of paper
products. The agreement covers sea freight of an
initial 700,000 tonnes p.a. by DFDS Tor Line from
Gothenburg to Tilbury and Immingham in England for a
period of ten years. Shipments are due to start 1 July
2005.
"Stora Enso has an exciting and new
approach to modern logistics and it is stimulating for
us at DFDS to be part of the development of Gothenburg
as a Scandinavian hub," Björn Petrusson of DFDS Tor
Line AB comments.

company and its innovative approach to the development
of our transport system was an important factor in the
