DFDS Tor Line has sold the ro-ro vessel
m.s. TOR CALEDONIA to Italian owners for delivery in
November of this year. The parties have agreed not to
disclose the sales price.
TOR CALEDONIA, built in 1977 and rebuilt in 1990, has a
cargo capacity of 2.000 lane metres. The ship is deployed
on the DFDS EuroBridge service between Gothenburg and Ghent
and will be replaced by the ro/ro vessel m.s. TOR
ANGLIA.
The sale of TOR CALEDONIA is part of DFDS' new tonnage
strategy, viz. to reduce the average age of the fleet,
improve the flexibility, and own 50% of the fleet only.
Yours faithfully,
DFDS Tor Line A/S
