Modern Malmö

Malmö is a city full of surprises with a rich cultural life and beautiful architecture. Until 1658, Malmö belonged to Denmark and it’s not surprising that this third largest city in Sweden, is reminiscent of Copenhagen in both its architecture, spirit and mentality.

Malmö is one of the earliest industrialised Scandinavian cities, but it is also one of the top five of the greenest cities. This multifaceted city offers a set of themed playgrounds and parks, three skateboarding parks, a water park and a range of other attractions for families, couples, young and senior travellers.

Part of the Western Harbour District is the largest and most impressive 190 m high residential building in Malmö. It’s visible from afar but it's well worth taking a closer look to admire the perfect spiral structure consisting of parts joining at 90 degrees angle from bottom to top.
