DFDS operates port terminals in strategic locations like as Gothenburg in Sweden, Esbjerg in Denmark, Vlaardingen in Holland, Immingham in the UK, and Dunkirk in France.

Food-grade, safety, and quality are all fully assured, thanks to our multi-temperature warehouses and relevant certifications, like HACCP - Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) - a risk management system that identifies, evaluates, and controls hazards related to food safety throughout the food supply chain. DFDS’ British Retail Consortium (BRC) certification proves our compliance with global standards for food safety.
Cold chain warehousing solutions that suit you
DFDS offers dedicated warehousing, blast freezing and distribution for businesses that depend on a solid cold chain – like companies in the seafood industry. We own more than 14,000 m² of temperature-managed warehousing and have 9 depots in 7 countries. With DFDS, you can transport or store any food that requires temperature regulation: seafood as well as wholesale foods like frozen herbs, frozen vegetables, and chilled oils.

DFDS Logistics’ IT solutions support network optimisation and efficiency, and our digital tools are easy to use and give you the overview you need, all the way. In our online booking system, you can create, edit, follow the status of your bookings, download invoices and see proof of delivery (PODs).
