DOVER TO DUNKIRK FERRIES
DFDS are the only operator to offer ferries between Dover and Dunkirk. Taking just two hours, and with up to 24 sailings a day, they are perfect for a day trip or as the start point for a European holiday.
We also have a Dover-Calais route which operates up to 30 daily sailings and a route across the western Channel from Newhaven to Dieppe, which sails up to 6 times a day depending on the season.

The 3 modern vessels operating on the Dunkirk route are packed with excellent facilities to ensure you have an enjoyable crossing. Relax with a drink and admire the sea views or catch the news and sport in the Lighthouse Café.
Our onboard shop sells a selection of cosmetics, fragrances, beers, wines and spirits, souvenirs and travel essentials.
Kids will love the Pirates’ Island play area, and if you want a more luxurious crossing, book yourself into the Premium Lounge and enjoy the complimentary drinks, fruit and pastries.
There are 2 restaurants onboard our ferries. 7 Seas restaurant offers your classic comfort food, delicious desserts and vegetarian options, all at an affordable price. As you dine you can take in stunning panoramas across the ocean. Horizon Snack Bar provides a great New-York Deli experience – you choose the ingredients for your meal. Great to keep the kids happy! There are also lighter snacks and confectionary available at Lighthouse Cafe.

Dunkirk is less than 25 miles north of our Calais port, so like Calais, it provides easy access to destinations in France, Germany, Holland and Belgium, as well as further afield. We offer a range of ticket types on our routes to France. Our Economy tickets mean you can travel on the sailing before or after your booked crossing time.
For more flexibility, book a Flexi ticket which allows you to travel up to 72 hours either side of your original booking, subject to availability and amend without fees. Regular travellers should book Multi-Trip tickets for savings on your crossings over the course of the year.
