The Lowlands in Scotland

Discover the beauty of the south of Scotland on a getaway to the Scottish Lowlands. The eastern part of the region is also known as the "Scottish Borders". Here you will find beautiful green landscapes, hills and a lot of forest. Ideal for outdoor activities such as fishing, golfing and hiking. The many castles, manors and abbeys testify to Scotland's rich history. You will never get bored here!

The term "Lowlands" mainly refers to the central lowlands. The border area between Scotland and Northern England, immediately south of Edinburgh and Glasgow. Discover this diverse area and beautiful regions such as the Scottish Borders, Dumfries & Galloway National Park, but also Lanarkshire, which is on the impressive UNESCO World Heritage List. The picturesque coastline to the east is also worth a visit. There is a lot of history here in the form of old abbeys, mansions and historic castles.
