Monsen is the representation of Norway's wilderness and expedition hazards, as well as a skilled and engaging speaker, author and programme manager. Ever since the "Canada across" in 2005, he has enthralled the Norwegian people with their incredible journeys and extroverted manner. In 2010, he was the programme manager for "No Borders" where twelve disabled people joined Monsen on a long trip - a gripping programme that both touched and gave TV viewers great wow experiences. This host role led him to win "People's Prize" during the Gold Route in 2010. You can also find Monsen in "Monsen and the dogs" and "Monsen on wild tracks". In addition to being an active expeditionary and TV profile, Monsen has published a number of books on expeditions.
Experience Lars Monsen through pictures, movies and strong stories! In this unique lecture, he talks not only about his countless expeditions, but also about his near to death experiences and the supernatural side of his life, about his upbringing that shaped him, about a heroin-addicted brother and alcohol consumption that could have led his life in a different direction.Lars Monsen performs on the day of departure, Wednesday 13 November. The lecture will be held at the Columbus Night Club.
