Arrival in Oslo
On our mini cruises you can experience Oslo during the hours the ship is at the quay.
In the winter, the Navisen Skating Rink by Karl Johan is popular. You can also enjoy a nice day in the snow; it only takes half an hour by metro to get to Oslo Winter Park, where you can rent skis, or the Corkscrew toboggan run, which is open from December to March.
In the summer you can take a walk on the harbor, where you can see the spectacular opera house and the shrimp boats, which are located by the Town Hall pier (except Sunday and Monday). Buy freshly cooked shrimp, and peel your own lunch! The shopping street, Karl Johan Gate, is definitely worth a visit.

The family's winter holiday in Copenhagen
There is little to beat a winter holiday in wonderful Copenhagen!
This year we are extra lucky as Tivoli is open until 23 February! This means that you can experience the adventure park during 'Winter in Tivoli' when the park is covered with snow and lights that sparkle like snow crystals. Here you can, among other things, skate, ride carousels, taste sugar spins and cocoa.
Other exciting places to visit are the Copenhagen Zoo, The Blue Planet, the Experimentarium, the Zoological Museum and the Airtrix trampoline park.
In Copenhagen there are a number of eateries suitable for families with children. What about Asian at Wagamama? Tivoli Food Hall is also a good alternative. There, everyone can choose food from one of the many stalls, and then gather around one table for lunch. Both restaurants have street entrance and can be visited even without a ticket to Tivoli Gardens.
Another great alternative is the Greasy Spoon Diner where you get burgers and french fries, as well as big cherry milkshakes and Oreo on top.
Last but not least: pizza! There is no doubt that pizza is and remains the children's favorite and at Gorm's you get crispy pizzas with delicious topping. Gorm's is found in several places in Copenhagen, including Nyhavn, the Tivoli Food Hall and the Torvehallerne.
