There is something for everyone in London. If you’re a keen shopper take a trip to Westfield London, one of the largest shopping malls in Europe, for an endless supply of both high end and high street shops. If theatre is your thing, be sure to go to the West End area around Piccadilly Circus and get tickets one of the many fantastic theatre shows on offer.
Buckingham Palace is a must-see when visiting London (if you time it well you may even be able to see the famous changing of the guard!) and maybe walk across Green Park afterwards for some Afternoon Tea at the Ritz.
If you’re looking for some open space in London, you should visit one of the many parks in the city. Go to Green Park, near Buckingham Palace, or Hyde Park, by Marble Arch, for a fun day out in the fresh air.
Visit Trafalgar Square to see Nelsons Column and maybe take a trip into the National Gallery while you’re there to see artwork dating back to the mid-13th century. Go on the London Eye for amazing panoramic views of the entire city but if that’s not your thing, go to the viewing platform at the top of the Shard for more fantastic views of London.
There are thousands of restaurants in London, with a diverse range of cuisines on offer. If you’re looking for fine dining, then go to one of the many Michelin star restaurants in London such as La Trompette in West London. If quick and affordable food is what you fancy, then try a high street restaurant or café.
For a quintessentially British dining experience go for Afternoon Tea near Kensington Palace or for a less formal meal visit a local chip shop for some traditional fish and chips!
