This year, Copenhagen has been named the world's best city to visit by the travel agencies behind Lonely Planet. If you have already seen both Nyhavn and Tivoli, why not visit one of Copenhagen's famous museums?
Stroll through Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, which is centrally located just behind Tivoli. At the National Museum you can follow the Danish cultural development from reindeer hunters in the Ice Age, through the Viking Age and all the way to what society looks like today. 40km north of Copenhagen you will find the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, whose unique architecture is worth the visit in itself.
