After agreeing on the acquisition in September 2021, DFDS is excited to announce the integration of ICT Logistics into its logistics network. While DFDS has already owned a minority share in ICT Logistics since 2006, the acquisition allows expanding services across multiple markets. ICT Logistics has its head office in Herning, Denmark, and specialises in full - and part load, groupage and oversize transport solutions. The company's considerable presence and know-how in the Baltic, Central Eastern Europe and CIS countries provide an ideal platform for DFDS to grow its network in these regions.

One of the main effects of the integration is expanding DFDS' logistics network to cover Western Europe, Central Eastern Europe, the Baltic and CIS countries. DFDS will, throughout these markets, offer oversize cargo transport, warehousing, distribution and customs clearance, as well as options to transport cargo via road, rail, air, sea and river.

With a diverse customer portfolio that includes several large Danish industrials, ICT Logistics offers an opportunity to further develop knowledge and expertise on meeting the logistics needs of various industries. ICT's longstanding proficiency in transporting agricultural, construction, and forest machinery enhance DFDS' ability to serve customers in these areas, as well as customers in the automotive industry.

Established in 1997 by its current management team, ICT Logistics owns 20 trucks for its haulage, has 600 trailers in operation, 28 drivers, and carries close to 650 loads per week. The integration with DFDS will begin on 19 January.
