Frequently asked questions

WHY IS THERE MORE THAN ONE BOOKING SYSTEM?

DFDS is in the process of upgrading our online booking experience. Our new online booking works on any device, so you can book, update and track shipments at your convenience. If you do not currently have an account please use the contact form below to request one.

Our old booking system is still available (desktop only) for existing users with an account. If you are a new customer, please request an account to our new online booking tool using the contact form.

Customers using Dover-Calais and Dover-Dunkirk routes may also continue to book via Phoenix Web (mobile-friendly) if they already have an account.

HOW DO I REQUEST AN ACCOUNT WITH DFDS?

If you don't have an account with us, please contact your local DFDS representative to request one. Alternatively, contact us by email.

DO YOU OFFER ELECTRONIC INVOICING AND SELF-BILLING?

DFDS offers customers electronic invoicing, where our IT system updates the customers' system with invoice data, leading to faster handling and fewer errors.

DFDS can also support self-billing.
