About Shetland Transport Logistics
Shetland Transport is a family-run freight and haulage business, established in 1982. The company began servicing the Shetland Islands and has since expanded to become a business who’s transport goods throughout Shetland, across UK mainland and connects to the entire European continent. DFDS will now operate the with three main depots in Shetland, Aberdeen and Coatbridge – located on the outskirts of Glasgow. In addition, DFDS will take over Shetland Transport’s fleet of 35 trucks and over 96 trailers. As of 2016, Shetland Transport is officially owned and operated by DFDS.
