Day 1 and 2
Day 1: Evening in Hamburg
After arriving at the port of Kiel, head to the city of Hamburg - just 100km away. Stroll through the harbour town, visit Speicherstadt's historic port warehouse district, see the impressive Town Hall Square and old town and explore the spectacular boats at the port quays. Visit Planten un Blomen, a park with rose garden, Japanese garden and a children's playground located in the heart of the city. Don't miss the fountain show at 22:00! Stay in Hamburg.
Day 2: Heide and Serengeti Parks
Spend the first part of the day at one of the most famous theme parks in the world, Heide Park and dare to try all the attractions. After enjoying the amusement park, go to the nearby Serengeti Safari Park, where you will have the opportunity to see and feed exotic animals through the car window! Head to Bremen for an overnight stay.
Day 3 and 4
Day 3: Getting to know Bremen
Cosy cafes, parks and impressive architecture create a unique atmosphere of this city. You cant miss the most important inhabitants of this city - the four Bremen musicians who not only have sculptures, but also souvenirs, swings and even a singing well dedicated to them! Stay in Bremen.
Day 4: Bremerhaven – Cuxhaven
On the fourth day of your vacation, head to Klimahaus Bremerhaven, a cognitive science center in Bremerhaven. Not only will you see the environment in different parts of the world, but you will also feel their climate, smells, sounds and even humidity! The water of the Wadden Sea shrinks and rises every 6 hours, so after spending a half-day here you will have the opportunity to take a dip and walk down the seabed! Stay and spend the evening in the cozy town of Kukshaven.
Day 5: Shopping in Neumunster
Time to think about heading home, but you've got most of the day to explore before heading to the harbour. If you still have the energy - go to Neumunster, halfway between Kukshaven and Kiel, where there's a large outlet town! Here you will find more than 120 different brands with great discounts and plenty of cafe's and restaurants. While the adults shop, children can play in the on-site playground. After shopping, head to Kiel Harbour ready to travel home in the evening.
