Curonian split

The curonian split is probably the most famous destination in Lithuania. There are 5 small villages on the narrow peninsula telling the ancient history, special architecture buildings and enchanting landscapes. The landscape features magnificent sand dunes with views of the Curonian Split and the Baltic Sea. These sand dunes are not only a natural monument, they are also an example of the forces of nature, with 4 villages covered with sand beneath them. After coming to Neringa, do not miss the opportunity to taste fish caught and smoked in the curonian split.

Amber museum, Palanga, Lithuania

Amber museum

Here, as in Europe as a whole, manor culture flourished during the Renaissance. In Palanga, tourists are attracted by the manor of the famous noble family, where you can now explore the manor culture and amber of the Baltic Sea. It hosts many different amber specimens including museum pride - A 3.6 kg amber piece called the Sun Stone. It is the third largest piece of amber in Europe, with larger pieces preserved in Germany and Russia.

Park in Lithuania

Baltic mythology Park

Although Christianity is prevalent in Lithuania, there are still many places to be found today that have traces of pagan religion. Explore the Baltic cultural heritage in the Lopaičiai Castle Mountain Complex. The wooden paths lead you to a forest full of magic and ancient rituals and where you can find rocks mentioned in old stories: dreams, fertility and healing. Throughout the seasons, you will find humans near the boulders: flowers, amber. An hour from here you will find the Baltic Mythology Park. The park extends into a pyramid-shaped forest area with over 40 statues carved in wood and depicting an ancient Lithuanian (Baltic) deity.
