To make sure you have all you need for your trip to France, we recommend checking entry requirements prior to travel. Entry conditions depend on whether passengers have been fully vaccinated and may include:
- A passenger locator form
- A covid certificate demonstrating proof of vaccination status
- A negative covid test (if not fully vaccinated)

Many people ask ‘how long is the ferry from Dover to Calais’ and are to hear it takes only 90 minutes. It’s our fastest crossing and it gives you more time to explore Europe at your leisure.

The Dover to France ferry prices differ depending on what ticket type you choose. Economy tickets let you travel on the sailing before or after your booked crossing time.
Flexi tickets allow you to travel up to 72 hours either side of your original booking, subject to availability and amend without fees.
Regular travellers should book Multi-Trip tickets to save over the course of the year.
