Vessel handling

Seven berths within the two terminals capable of handling the majority types of vessels:

  • Dockside Terminal 198m length x 26.2m beam x 10.36m draught

  • Riverside Terminal 240m length x 35m beam x 10m draught

Cargo Handling

Cargo handling

A fleet of cargo handling equipment ranging from fork-lift trucks to on-site mobile harbour cranes, which include a 100 tonne Gottwald and a Liebherr LHM420 crane with 124 tonne capacity.

The DFDS Immingham terminal can handle the most simplistic of cargo to the very complex. Specialised equipment can be hired if required.

Warehousing & storage

60,000 sqm of warehousing in addition to outside storage, including undercover loading bays for weather-sensitive cargo.

The terminal is rail connected to a dedicated steel warehouse which provides specialised magnetic cranes for steel coils. There is also the availability for storage in temperature controlled or ambient warehouses.

Border compliance function to facilitate the legislative requirement with governing bodies for all cargoes through the Immingham terminal.
