The Immingham terminal is strategically located on the UK’s East coast with easy access to main motorways and on-site rail connection. DFDS occupies over 700,000m² of terminal land split into two distinct terminals: Dockside and Riverside.

Cargo handling
A fleet of cargo handling equipment ranges from fork-lift trucks to on-site mobile harbour cranes, which include a 100 tonne Gottwald and a Liebherr LHM420 crane with 124 tonne capacity.
DFDS terminal can handle the most simplistic of cargo to the very complex.
Specialised equipment can be hired if required.

Vessel handling
Nine berths within the two terminals capable of handling the majority types of vessels:
Dockside Terminal 198m length x 26.2m beam x 10.36m draught.
Riverside Terminal 240m length x 35m beam x 10m draught.

Warehousing & Storage
80,000m² of warehousing in addition to outside storage, including undercover loading bays for weather-sensitive cargo.
The terminal is rail connected to a dedicated steel warehouse which provides a specialised magnetic crane for steel coils.
There is also the availability for storage in temperature controlled or ambient warehouses.

Workshops
Terminal and trailer workshops on site and refueling services and trailer washing.
Trailer MOTs can be carried out on site along with all trailer repairs.
Tyre repairs and replacement.
Trailer servicing.
Refrigerated trailer and container services.
Container and mobile machine repairs.
