Although Jan Eggum is often characterized as "the face of melancholy" and performs songs that deal with heavy themes such as love and loneliness, he oozes humor, warmth and a life experience that most people will only experience at one of his concerts. We like to classify Eggum as a cheerful melancholy, and Eggum describes himself as an artist who easily sings about difficult things.
Jan Eggum has been an active and important figure in Norwegian visual arts since 1975. His big breakthrough came in 1977 with the album "Witch Dance", for which he, in the same year, received a Spellemann prize. But this is not Eggum's only distinction. He has also won a total of six Spellemann prizes, both as a solo artist and together with the Guitar comrades, has been included in the "Rockheim Hall of Fame" and been awarded the "Solprisen" - and it should be said that the list does not stop there. Eggum's roots are tradition, with clear references to jazz and rock, and sings in both Norwegian and English.
Jan Eggum performs on the day of departure, Monday 11 November. The concert will be held at Columbus Night Club. The doors open at 20.30 and the concert starts at. 21:00. From 21.45 to 22.00 break. 22.00 - 22.45 The concert continues
