DFDS APPOINTS NEW REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
New cast for DFDS in Germany. Sünje Schmidt joins DFDS sales force and becomes new Regional Sales Manager (Central & Eastern Europe) within the Group Passenger Business Unit.
Hamburg, May 17, 2018.Sünje Schmidt (45) has been Regional Sales Manager at DFDS since May. In her position she strengthens the DFDS Sales Team Germany with David Finnegan (Sales Manager Central, Eastern & Southern Europe) at the Hamburg location.
Schmidt has more than 20 years of experience in the tourism industry and brings with her a lot of know-how in sales and customer service within the tourism sector. As Regional Sales Manager (Central & Eastern Europe), she will support the international sales team of DFDS and dedicate herself to the expansion of services and the customer portfolio in addition to the support and development of regional existing customers. "I am excited about my new position, the new challenges and a wide range of customers who are expecting me at DFDS. Together with our great team, I would like to bring DFDS further forward and support it with my experience, "said Schmidt.
Prior to joining Schmidt, he led two of his own travel agencies and was head of the touristic sales and group segment at the bus group tour operator LMS Reisen. "We are very happy to welcome Sünje Schmidt to the DFDS team. With her an experienced tourism expert expands our team. Her expertise in the tourism industry and her extensive network are a great asset to DFDS, and I am sure she will complement our team, "said David Finnegan, Sales Manager Central, Eastern & Southern Europe.
