Getting to France from the UK is easy. Choose from two crossings – Dover-Calais or Dover-Dunkirk – which take just 100 minutes or two hours respectively.
With up to 52 sailings a day, you can relax and enjoy the onboard facilities during the short crossing, all while looking forward to arriving in France from the comfort of your own vehicle.
Holland
If you want to travel to Europe, but live in the north of England or Scotland then you can avoid a long drive south by sailing from Newcastle to our port in IJmuiden and get a great deal on your crossing. From there, you’ll find easy access to major destinations across Europe, including Holland, France, Belgium and Germany.

Onboard our ferries
The voyage from Dover to France may be short, just 100 minutes to Calais and 2 hours to Dunkirk, but there’s plenty to do onboard to ensure your crossing is just as fun as the rest of your break. Head to the 7 Seas restaurant to grab a bite to eat, or the Lighthouse Café if you fancy something a lighter bite. Our Duty Free Shop onboard stocks travel essentials, confectionery and more. Plus, our brand new Duty Free Shops at Calais and Dunkirk ports are ideal for some retail therapy, with savings of up to 50% on premium products. There is also play area for children.
The ferries on our Newcastle-Amsterdam overnight ferry route are packed full of modern facilities. Head to one of the bars to sample a range of drinks while enjoying live music and entertainment. You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to food too, with our buffet restaurant, Explorer’s Kitchen or our à la carte option, North Sea Bistro. If you’re travelling with children, they’ll love our play areas, cinema and shops. Once you’ve enjoyed yourself, you can retire to your cabin, with a range available.
