Our Newhaven-Dieppe crossing is a fantastic option for those in the Southwest of England. With recently refurbished onboard facilities, a short 4-hour journey, and no baggage restrictions, it’s the perfect start to your holiday in France.

Terms and Conditions

*Lead in price based on one-way fare for a standard car carrying 4 (2 adults + 2 children) passengers on the Newhaven-Dieppe route, including ETS charge as of 1st January 2024. Journeys and prices are subject to availability and usual DFDS terms & conditions apply.

**Priority Boarding allows you to be one of the first to board and disembark. Please note that Priority Boarding is limited to 8 vehicles per crossing, so be sure to secure your spot!

Please note: Construction work in Dieppe
Road traffic will be diverted as part of the restoration of the Colbert Bridge. For pedestrians, a footbridge has been installed. An alternate route will be indicated for cars. Please find out more here.

Concessionary tickets:

A reduction of 20% is available on the Newhaven-Dieppe route for passengers with a disability, students between the age of 18 to 27, young people between the age of 18 to 25 and seniors over the age of 60 years.

Passengers will need to be the lead passenger and present proof of age, student card or disability card at the port and the discount applies to the crossing only and does not include cabins or pets.

Onboard our Ferries from Newhaven to Dieppe

Our Newhaven-Dieppe ferry Côte d'Albâtre departs twice daily and takes just four hours to reach her destination.

With onboard facilities including a restaurant, a shop, play areas and a bar boasting stunning sea views through its floor to ceiling windows, your holiday will start the moment you step onboard. All passengers have access to reclining lounge seats during the crossing to France, but if you prefer you can book your own private cabin for a small extra fee.

Enjoy a bite to eat onboard our café and restaurants, take the kids to enjoy the soft play area, or venture outside on deck to enjoy unique views of the English Channel. With DFDS, your holiday starts the moment you step onboard!

Only vehicle travel is permitted on our Dover - France routes. Foot passengers are not permitted.
