UK Border Operating Processes 2022
The Brexit process is set for its next steps with new customs regulations taking effect January 1st, 2022, which will impact our ferry transport between the EU and UK.
From January 1st onward, it will no longer be allowed to postpone declarations on goods entering the UK. Transporters must therefore have all relevant documents approved and clear customs in real time. Furthermore, shipments of agricultural products and foodstuffs with health certificates must be registered through Great Britain’s IPAFFS to be granted entry to the UK.
Sign up for our “A Step Ahead” webinar to learn more about the latest Brexit rules and how to maintain efficient transport and supply chains between the EU and UK.
