THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS IN LONDON

The capital becomes illuminated in November as preparations for Advent begin the turning on of the city’s Christmas lights. By December, Christmas is in every shop window, and street corner, as beautifully adorned trees are erected across London.

Take yourself out the centre and into the residential boroughs, such as Holland Park, Knightsbridge and Regent’s Park, where houses are decked with the most ornate decorations and lights and you can often catch local choirs singing carols in the streets and churches.
