The building itself is a stylish limestone building at the foot of the Domberget, on the border between the old and new city. It was originally constructed in 1873 by the Baron Georg von Stackelberg as a town residence.
In the hotel, the new and old design stands in harmony. Thick limestone walls in public spaces exude timeless elegance. The modern design juxtaposes the architecture, serving to emphasise the historic environment of the building.
