Scotland: Classic Route

Travel to the most beautiful places in Scotland! With your own car you are flexible and can spontaneously make a detour. Marvel at the railroad bridge to "Hogwarts" via the Glenfinnan viaduct or the unique nature around the Glen Coe known from Braveheart or James Bond's Skyfall. On your route past Loch Ness, there are plenty of opportunities for a walk in Scotland's typical natural setting. Also on your way is Ballater, the summer residence of the Queen, where the Highland Games are held. On the way home, a stop in Edinburgh awaits you.

The first destination of your tour is the beautiful town of Peebles in the middle of the Scottish Borders.

Drymen & Loch Lomond
From Peebles the journey continues to Drymen. This romantic spot is nestled in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, which was also Scotland's first national park.

Oban & Inverness
The next stop on your route is Oban. This pretty harbor town is the starting point for numerous tours to the offshore islands of the west coast.

The next place on your tour is the dreamy climatic health resort Ballater amidst a breathtaking mountain scenery, which also serves as a summer residence for the royal family.

Kinross & Edinburgh
The last leg will take you to Kinross, where you will spend the night in the lovingly furnished 3-star Windlestrae Hotel.
