Children in Copenhagen
If you are traveling with children, Tivoli is an absolute favorite! In addition, the Copenhagen Zoo and the Blue Planet Aquarium are a big hit. A trip to Experimentarium, Copenhagen's answer to the Technical Museum (just much much bigger), never fails. The Natural History Museum has produced several unique treasures that have long been hidden from the public, and you can see, among other things, the giant dinosaur "Misty" at the Zoological Museum.
Torvehallerne
Visit the food market in Torvehallerne, Copenhagen's pantry with over 60 stalls and places to eat. Stroll among spices, cheeses, delicious chocolates, flowers and other delicious go'bites.
Hidden treasures outside the alpha road If you move a little outside Strøget and into the small streets, you can find some of Copenhagen's best second-hand, vintage and used shops. Take e.g. one strides into the Latin Quarter and finds the unique treasures that not everyone else has.
