UK Ferry Routes to Europe with DFDS

DFDS are one of northern Europe’s biggest ferry operators and we run 8 passenger routes including 4 between the UK and the Continent.

From the UK you have several options for travelling to Europe by ferry. You can cross the Channel on our Dover to Dunkirk or Dover to Calais routes, as well as our Newhaven to Dieppe route. Our Newcastle to Amsterdam route provides an ideal link from the north of the UK to the Continent.

We have crossings linking Germany and Sweden with Lithuania and Estonia, providing convenient access to Scandinavia and the Baltics.

In addition to our mainland Europe routes, we also offer ferry crossings to Jersey from multiple ports.

Proudly named the World’s Leading Ferry Operator

We are also proud to announce that we have been nominated as Europe’s Leading Ferry Operator 2026 and this amazing journey continues, first and foremost, thanks to you.

To our loyal passengers who put their trust in us, our valued partners and our hard-working colleagues: this nomination is also yours. You are the heart of DFDS and today, we’d like to say THANK YOU.

Let's continue to create beautiful memories and cross the finish line together.
