Côte d’Opale Naming Ceremony
When: Thursday 15 July 2021, 14:00 – 16:00
Where: Please meet at Calais Port-new extension 62100 Calais, Berth 10. There is a car park beside Berth 10. Please see this map for more details and follow the red line. A representative from DFDS will be there to meet you and take you to the Naming Ceremony.
Order of the Day:
- For press only: 12:30 – Arrival
- For press only: 12:45– 13:45 - Meet Carla Echene & Florence Brunel for 1 hr tour of the Côte d’Opale
- 13:30– Arrival
- 14:00– Naming ceremony
- Speech from our Ferry Godmother, Annick Girardin
- Celebratory drinks reception
Requirements: Please send passport details along with your RSVP to ensure access to the port for the event.
Côte d’Opale Gala Dinner – Calais
When: Thursday 15 July 2021, 19:00 – 23:30 (CET time)
Where: Please meet at Calais Port-new extension 62100 Calais, Berth 10. There is a car park beside Berth 10. Please see this map for more details and follow the red line. A representative from DFDS will be there to meet you and take you to the Gala Dinner.
Attire: Black Tie. We recommend ladies bring flat shoes to walk onto the ship.
Requirements: You must complete a covid-declaration form & will need to present a negative PCR test before you are able to board.
Order of the Evening:
- 19:00- Tour of passenger areas of Côte d’Opale
- 20:00 - Three course dinner with wine pairing
- Guest speaker
- Music
- 23:30 – Carriages

The Côte d’Opale Press Tour
When: Friday 16 July 2021, 13:00 – 14:00
Where: Port of Dover, Terminal Control, Eastern Docks, Dover, CT16 1JA
UK Gala Dinner
When: Friday 16 July 2021, 19:00 – 23:30
Where: Dover
Meeting point: Please park at Dover Cruise Terminal, Western Docks, Dover CT17 9DQ. A representative from DFDS will be there to meet you and take you onboard via coach.
Attire: Black Tie. We recommend ladies bring flat shoes to walk onto the ship.

Requirements: You will need to present a negative PCR test before you are able to board which has been taken within the past 48 hours. Tests will be available at the port.

When: Saturday 17 July 2021

- 20:00 arrive at port
- 22:00 - set sail
- 23:30 – arrival into Port of Dover

Where: Port of Calais
Requirements: You must bring your passport, complete a covid-declaration form & will need to present a negative PCR test before you are able to board. On arrival into the UK you will need to complete a Passenger Locator Form.
