Aboard the DFDS overnight ferry you will enjoy the crossing before heading on a long tour of Scotland. Scottish Borders
The first destination of your tour is the beautiful town of Peebles in the middle of the Scottish Borders. The riverfront town is the perfect starting point for numerous tours in the surrounding area, which is known for breathtaking scenery and panoramas. Explore the enchanted forests of the area with your motorbike or visit the nearby Rosslyn Chapel with its unique ornaments and sculptures. During your stay, be sure to visit one of the quaint pubs and sample the local dishes. After a busy day, our cozy partner hotels invite you to relax.
Drymen & Loch Lomond
From Peebles the journey continues to Drymen in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. The approximately 120 km long route offers many opportunities for small trips. Our recommendation is that you take a trip to Glasgow, which is only 30 km from Drymen. If you prefer to admire the scenery, avoid the Greater Glasgow freeway and instead enjoy the drive from Peebles through the Highlands to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. This national park is one of the most popular holiday regions in Scotland and attracts the local population as well as tourists from all over the world. Use your time on site to explore the area and enjoy the unique nature. Your hotel is the charming 3-star Winnock Hotel.
