Festive Breaks to Holland

There are a number of well-known Christmas Markets in Holland including those in Valkenburg, Dordrecht, Deventer, Maastricht and Nijmegen, the oldest city in Holland. Visitors to Dutch Christmas Markets can secure all sorts of Christmas specialities and relish the atmosphere of a Dutch Advent.

With DFDS, if you choose to, you can take your car to Holland on one of our ferries, making transport simple. Cross from Newcastle to our port in IJmuiden, and you'll be just 17 miles away from Amsterdam. Alternatively, you can access Holland from either of our routes from Dover to France in just a few hours!
