POLISH YOUTH TEAM SCORE WITH DONATION FROM DFDS

Ferry operator DFDS​ has presented a cheque valued at £1,500 to IBB Polonia Youth FC, along with DFDS branded kits. The presentation on 1st June coincided with Polish National Children’s Day and took place today at Wembley Stadium in celebration of Poland hosting the 2018 World Cup later this year.

The youth team, based in Brentford, comprises an under 7, under 8, under 9 and under 10 team registered to the top league in the area, Harrow Youth Football League.

DFDS will be sponsoring the team’s kit for a year with the £1,500 donation supporting the team in its mission to increase sporting opportunities for even the youngest football fans.

Jacques Webb, Marketing Co-ordinator, at DFDS said of the partnership:

‘We are extremely proud of our partnership with IBB Polonia FC. We understand the power that sport has to bring communities together and the important life skills it equips young people with.’
