At DFDS, you should always feel that you are getting the most for your money. Therefore, you can use the travel credit that you received due to the Covid-19 restrictions, exactly as you want.

This means that you can also use your travel credits on current offers. All you have to do is register your voucher in this form when you buy one of our many offers, and we will credit you the amount afterwards.

How to redeem

  1. Buy a trip with DFDS - see our offer here.
  2. Read the rules and guidelines for refunds below.
  3. Fill in the form 'Use travel credit' here.
  4. Remember to state both your old and new booking number!
  5. Wait for confirmation.
  6. Your travel credit will be refunded within 30 days.

DFDS travel credit customers

All customers who received a travel credit with us in 2020 and 2021 and have had this extended, can now redeem the credit until 31 December 2022.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to deduct the travel credit when you book. However, you will subsequently be credited with the amount you have to your credit within 30 days if you fill out the form (unless you have more money to your credit than what the trip costs. In that case, you still have a travel credit to your credit which is valid until further notice).

Rebookings are valid for travel until 31 December 2022. Extended travel credit vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. For all customers who booked before 11 March 2020, DFDS will not extend your travel credit without your prior consent.

Terms and Conditions

  • Rebooking must be made no later than 24 hours before departure on the outgoing part of the trip.
  • Travel credits can be used on all DFDS 'products - also offers.
  • The new booking must be made in the same currency as the original booking that provided the travel credit.
  • Hotel bookings made directly through DFDS are not covered.
  • Standard terms and conditions apply to the purchased ticket type if it is canceled within 24 hours.
  • Rebookings cannot be made via "my pages" and must be made via our customer service team.
  • For rebookings, the customer must pay the ticket difference on the new travel date. Reservations for sold out days and cabins.
  • Subject to DFDS General Booking Terms and Conditions ofCarriage.
  • DFDS reserves the right to remove this warranty at any time. Therefore, flexible and fee-free rebooking is only valid for bookings made during the promotion of this guarantee.
  • The travel credit will be returned to the payment card used for the new booking.
