Discovering Dieppe

Enjoy the local cuisine
No trip to Dieppe would be complete without trying some of the town's delicious traditional dishes. Be sure to try moules marinières (mussels in white wine and garlic sauce), coquilles Saint-Jacques (scallops), and tarte normande (apple tart), and don't forget to end your meal with a cup of strong French coffee or a glass of calvados (apple brandy). Did you know, Dieppe was also voted “2020 Best French Finest Market”? If you’re in Dieppe on Saturday, it’s worth a visit!

Take a day trip to nearby villages
Dieppe is surrounded by picturesque villages that are well worth a visit. Take a short drive to Varengeville-sur-Mer, known for its stunning gardens and the final resting place of impressionist painter Claude Monet. Or, head to Saint-Valery-en-Caux, a charming fishing village with colourful houses and a lively marina. What about visiting Veules-les-Roses, voted one of the “most beautiful villages of France”?
