Amsterdam (Ijmuiden) Terminal

Amsterdam terminal is easily accessible and can be reached by car or bus. Train is also possible, provided you get off at Beverwijk and then take a public bus to Ijmuiden.

Our Amsterdam-Newcastle route offers daily overnight sailings, where you can travel with or without your vehicle. Free wi-fi is also available at the port.

Finding your way to Amsterdam terminal

By Car: You can travel to the terminal by car, simply head to Sluisplein 33 1975 AG IJmuiden

By Bus: You can travel to Amsterdam terminal from Amsterdam City Centre by the Browers bus service also known as the DFS Transfer Bus. You can find more information here: Bus Transfers | DFDS

By Train: It’s not possible to travel to Amsterdam terminal directly via train.

Car parking

We offer car parking facilities in Ijmuiden which is a short distance from the terminal. The car park is within a fenced area with camera surveillance next to the terminal. The site will close as soon as the ship leaves and reopened as soon as the ship arrives at the port.

The parking fee is €10 per night, and this can be booked prior to departure with one of our agents.

Taxi service

Taxi from Amsterdam will cost around 85 euros.
