We have two fantastic ships on our Newcastle to Amsterdam route – King Seaways and Princess Seaways.
The ships on this route are called cruise ferries as they boast a huge range of facilities and entertainment options to ensure you have an enjoyable crossing. In early 2024, both ships went under major refurbishment, with renewed cabins and refreshed onboard public areas.

King Seaways
Built in 1987, this ship went through major renovations in 2006, 2017 and 2024. King Seaways hosts a wide range of restaurants, bars, a café, Duty Free shop, two cinemas, and children’s entertainment.

Built in 1986 this impressive ship was renovated in 2006, 2017 and 2024. Princess Seaways can accommodate over 1,200 guests and 600 cars. The ship has fantastic onboard facilities, including bars, restaurants, cinemas, a Duty Free shop, a café, and children's entertainment.
